New AVA® Product Updates: More Control, Faster Workflows, and Smarter Lead Management

Autocorp.ai is continuing to improve the AVA® platform with new features designed to help dealership teams spend less time switching between tools and more time working deals.

The latest updates give dealers more control over their leads, make Co-Driver even more useful in day-to-day workflows, give dealerships greater flexibility over test drive scheduling, and introduce a new way to turn identity verification into a usable lead.

Key Takeaways

  • AVA® Co-Driver now lets dealerships update lead statuses and assign leads directly from the browser extension.
  • Co-Driver lead management is configurable by dealership and keeps status changes synchronized with the AVA® Portal.
  • AVA® Drive now allows dealerships to customize test drive hours, appointment lengths, breaks, and closed days.
  • AVA® Drive automatically displays availability based on the dealership's configured timezone.
  • AVA® ID is piloting a new feature that captures a customer's phone number and email during identity verification.
  • The new AVA® ID contact feature can turn a completed identity verification into a usable lead for dealership follow-up.

Here’s what’s new.

Co-Driver Now Lets Dealers Assign and Update Leads

Dealers can now update lead statuses and assign leads directly from the AVA® Co-Driver browser extension, eliminating the need to switch back to another platform to make simple lead management changes.

The feature is configurable by dealership and disabled by default. This gives dealers the flexibility to decide whether they want to use Co-Driver as part of their lead management workflow.

Once enabled, dealership teams can access a Status dropdown and Assign picker directly within Co-Driver, both from the leads list and individual lead profiles.

Status options match those available in the AVA® Portal, and changes remain synchronized between Co-Driver and the Portal.

What this means for dealerships

Sales and BDC teams can manage leads without leaving the workflow they are already working in.

Instead of:

  • Switching between multiple tabs
  • Opening the AVA® Portal to update a lead
  • Assigning a lead in one system and returning to another

Teams can make those changes directly inside Co-Driver.

For dealerships that rely on AVA® as part of their lead management process, this creates a faster and more centralized workflow.

AVA® Drive Now Gives Dealers Control Over Test Drive Hours

Dealerships using AVA® Drive can now customize their test drive booking hours instead of relying on a fixed schedule.

Company administrators can configure their dealership's:

  • Timezone
  • Appointment length, including 30- or 60-minute appointments
  • Opening and closing hours for each day
  • Breaks and additional time windows
  • Fully closed days

These settings are available under Settings → Account → Drive for dealers with AVA® Drive enabled.

Once saved, the changes are reflected immediately in the AVA® Drive widget.

That means the availability customers see when booking a test drive matches the dealership's actual schedule.

A better experience for dealers and customers

Dealerships don't all operate on the same schedule.

Some stores have extended evening hours. Others have different weekend schedules, staff breaks, or days when test drives aren't available.

With customizable scheduling, dealerships can make AVA® Drive work around their actual operation rather than changing their operation around the software.

Customers also see appointment times, confirmations, and calendar invites based on the dealership's configured timezone and availability.

New AVA® ID Feature Turns Identity Verification Into a Lead

Autocorp.ai is also piloting an enhanced AVA® ID experience that captures a customer's contact information during the identity verification process.

The feature, currently being piloted with select beta dealers, is not yet available for general launch.

How it works

Before completing the standard ID scan and selfie verification process, the consumer enters their phone number and email address.

That information is then attached to the lead in the AVA® Portal alongside information captured from the customer's ID, including:

  • Name
  • Address
  • Date of birth
  • Phone number
  • Email address

This gives dealerships a way to turn a completed identity verification into a usable customer record that their team can follow up with.

Why this matters

Not every customer who starts the buying process completes it immediately.

A customer may verify their identity, browse inventory, or begin a test drive process before going quiet.

By capturing contact information as part of AVA® ID, dealerships can have the information they need to follow up and re-engage those customers.

The goal is simple: make identity verification useful beyond the moment of verification itself.

More Control, Fewer Steps

These updates reflect a broader focus for the AVA® platform: putting the information and controls dealership teams need directly into the workflows they already use.

With Co-Driver, teams can now manage leads without leaving the browser extension. With AVA® Drive, dealerships have more control over when customers can book test drives. And with the new AVA® ID contact feature currently in pilot, dealerships can turn identity verification into a more actionable customer record.

As AVA® continues to evolve, the focus remains on helping dealerships reduce unnecessary steps, work with better customer data, and keep more of the sales process moving forward.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can dealerships customize their AVA® Drive test drive hours?

Yes. Dealerships using AVA® Drive can now configure their timezone, appointment length, opening and closing hours, breaks, additional time windows, and closed days.

Does AVA® Drive automatically update customer availability?

Yes. Once a dealership saves its scheduling settings, the AVA® Drive widget updates to reflect the dealership's configured availability and timezone.

What is the new AVA® ID contact feature?
