Automotive News reported that "people with knowledge" revealed these exciting developments, adding that CEO Jim Farley even shared an image of a lifted, off-road Baja model with special tires.  Other possible additions to the Mustang lineup include an EcoBoost variant with a starting price around $55,000 CAD and a manual V8 convertible.

While no official timelines were given, the presentations in Vegas indicate that Ford is seriously considering expanding the Mustang family beyond its traditional two-door coupe.
